If you have a project you’d like to propose, please check the ENCOMM guidance to ensure that you are eligible first.
ENCOMM GRANTS – INTRODUCTION
Applications are invited from clubs, societies or groups within the ENCOMM area [download map]. Under the small grants procedure individual applicants may also be considered if they can demonstrate support from and impact on a wider community.
ENCOMM SMALL GRANTS
The application procedure and form is the same for all applicants. However, we invite applications from non-formalised groups for one-off projects where:
- An individual or small group can evidence wider community support.
- The application is for £1000 and under.
- The application is not intended to recur.
- The individual or group may not have a project bank account, in which case, an arrangement may be made for ENCOMM to directly fund the goods or services. The Grant agreement will detail this in these cases.
Detailed guidance on who and what is eligible can be downloaded along with the application form. OR fill in this form directly below.
We strongly recommend you read the guidance first!

Success Story:
Funding application, 2020
The hard working Fornighty Hall Committee were looking for funding to carry out a major upgrade to the old building in 2020 to create a community hub for all to enjoy.
A new kitchen, DDA compliant toilet facilities, painting, planting and several small repairs were needed to make the building viable again. This required a business case and approximate costings.
ENCOMM granted a significant sum of money towards the overall cost and the result is fantastic. The hall officially opened in 2023. It is getting more and more popular with locals and folk from further afield too.
