Registered as Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation
Welcome
We are the East Nairnshire Community Organisation, known for short as ENCOMM. We are a fully registered Scottish
Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) set up to oversee the community benefit payments arising from the Tom Nan
Clach Wind Farm development.
Our principle charitable aims are:
•
To advance citizenship or community development, including rural regeneration.
•
To improve the quality of life, health, well-being and independence and to reduce social isolation of residents by reason
of age, ill-health, disability or social circumstances.
•
To advance environmental protection or improvement, including maintenance, improvement or provision of
environmental amenities, for the Community and the public.
We are run by a Board of Trustees elected by the membership. We are here to serve our community; to encourage ideas
and to support making the projects you want to see happen.
Membership
Membership is open to all residents
of East Nairnshire aged 16 or over.
It is free to join.
This entitles voting rights at the
Annual General Meeting and to
voice ideas as to how ENCOMM can
best serve the community.
